RES-Q II A British / American channel EQ with four drive circuits.



Not a black box, not just a schematic. RES-Q II is grey box: real circuit models, tuned against measurements of the hardware. Every shelf, filter and drive stage runs as a live circuit — the capacitors, the coils and the amplifier that drives them — so the bands lean on each other and saturate the way a console channel does. Then we sampled the hardware and fitted the models to it, to catch what a schematic alone misses. The result sounds like the real channel and costs almost nothing to run: a few percent of a single CPU core at the default setting.
