Synth wiz Sami Rabia brings you a video tutorial series designed to get you started on understanding and programming your own patches in Steinberg's HALion. Learn the important fundamentals and how to use them to make your own custom synth sounds!

Sami begins by welcoming you and then explains what the video series will cover, followed by a detailed overview of the Voice Control Module. You'll then explore the Analog Oscillator section in HALion, including all of its available parameters and how to use them.

Next, discover the Pitch Control Module section and all it can do when designing your sounds, as well as the massive filter selection in HALion, allowing for awesome sound sculpting.

Sami then goes deep into HALion's very powerful Multi-Segment Envelopes, as well as Aux Sends, Panning and how to use them all creatively. LFO & Step LFO are next, and you'll learn all about the different shapes that are available, as well as the extensive wave-shaping features and tempo sync functions, which allow you to get creative with your HALion sound design endeavors.

Wrapping it up, you'll dive into the Mod Matrix section, which hides some truly awesome tricks up its sleeves. You'll explore Sources and Destinations, including Quick Controls, which allow you to have complete sonic control over HALion and more.
