SideMinder ME is an advanced and feature-packed version of the original SideMinder with up to three independent bands of stereo width control plus extended range Bass Narrow control. Additional features include selectable input/output correlation metering, stereo/mono and normal/delta outputs for quickly auditioning SideMinder ME’s action.
Also included is an “Advanced” control section for those who want to fine tune SideMinder ME’s Width Limiter section. SideMinder ME can be used to enhance and control the stereo width of mixed program material and can add a “3D” quality that has to be heard! As in the original SideMinder, SideMinder ME is not a compressor and does not affect the dynamics of your mix, only the stereo width. SideMinder ME does not add any ambience but brings out the width in the original source material. Like the original SideMinder, SideMinder ME works with stereo signals and will not generate stereo from a mono source.
We are pleased to announce the release of SideMinder ME version 1.4.0. This update offers a significant reduction in CPU load (up to 50% depending on plugin settings, OS and plugin type) and approximately 10% less RAM usage than previous versions.
