In this course, Wwise Game Audio Fundamentals, you'll develop a basic understanding of standard game audio implementation techniques using the industry standard software, Wwise. First, you'll explore how to create dynamic interactive sound effects, ambiences, dialogue, music, and more. Next, you'll discover how to control your sounds with game calls. Finally you'll learn about event triggers, parameter changes, and switches. By the end of this course, you'll have the knowledge to empower you to add responsive and dynamic audio to video games efficiently and creatively. Software required: Wwise 2016.

Beatrix Moersch has worked in the audio field for nearly a decade. In 2015 she received an award for best sound at the Icaro Film Festival alongside the rest of the Ixcanul audio team, and is currently developing the original score and sound design for the upcoming video game Anamorphine (of Artifact 5).
