Muletone Audio Brazilian Series Caxixi and Agogô KONTAKT

The Caxixi is a percussion instrument made of a closed basket with a flat-bottom filled with seeds or other small particles. The round bottom is traditionally cut from a dried gourd. The Agogô of sanded coconut is made in a handmade way with wooden handle bolted in two dry coconuts that are sanded and varnished. Touched like the other models, with a wooden bat.

 

The musician, composer and percussionist Marcos Nascimento played both instruments.
