entirely unnecessary.

On Win7 x64: System32 and SysWOW64 are populated
with necessary files.
On Win7 x86: System32 is populated with
necessary files.

Note: If your graphics are bongin' out, you have a black GUI or you just know for a fact you have a solution with poor OpenGL support, you can disable OpenGL by setting the following vale to 1 in settings.xml, found in the application's program files folder:
"opengl_disabled" val="0"

make it in Notepad:
"opengl_disabled" val="1"

then Ctrl+S to save.
