The M1, released in 1988, is an epoch-making synthesizer that defined the music scene of the late 80’s and the 90s. Its synthesis system with digital multi-effects, based on high-quality PCM, featured a unique sound which was epoch-defining. In addition, as the original music workstation “all-in-one unit”, it came with an 8-track sequencer, drastically changing the composing and production style of musicians everywhere. The KORG Collection M1 V2 is an upgrade of the M1 software from 2005, and has been refined for modern production environments. We added the much requested high-resolution and scalable interface. The preset sounds include all 3,300 programs, including those from the expansion ROM cards, giving the legendary sounds of the M1 through the latest software as a plug-in.

Reborn through software Polyphonic Synthesizer Polysix Brought to the market in 1981, the analog synthesizer Polysix is one of KORG’s most famous synthesizers. At that time, popular synthesizers had a polyphony of five voices. This Polysix. with six polyphonic voices (one more voice), was named directly after the determination and pride of the engineers. Reborn through software 4VCO Synthesizer Mono/Poly The analog synthesizer Mono/Poly, which was launched at the same time as the Polysix in 1981, combined Korg’s analog synthesizers made until then into one ground-breaking synthesizer. The NI-SPEKTRAL DELAY differs from the many other audio effects in that it uses real-time FFT (Fast Fourier Transformation) to split each channel of a stereo signal into as many as 160 separately modifiable frequency bands (even up to 1024 bands internally). The level, delay time and feedback amount for each of this bands can be set separately. Additionally, various modulation effects can be applied to the signal in the frequency domain, which allows for even further sound manipulation.
