Valve 4 Op is a detailed sample library of sounds from the Yamaha TX81Z, developed for Native Instruments Kontakt 4 and higher. In total, there are 112 instruments made from 2,342 discrete samples. All samples were recorded in 24 bit at 44.1 kHz through an Inward Connections Vac Rac 4000 valve pre-amp.
The contents typically contained in wine glasses have provided inspiration for musicians since the first time the two were introduced. The wine glass became popular as a musical instrument in the 18th century. We’ve interpreted the concept in our own particular way. Instead of just using a set of wine goblets we also used a martini glass, champagne flute, and after a happy accident, a broken glass.
We’ve captured sustaining notes and rubber mallet strikes for each type of glass. We then applied a variety of effects to create some great special effects patches. Pour your self a glass of your favorite wine, and imbibe.
Functionality
The Imbibaphones library has a variety of special controls that allow deep real-time performance customization. It features selectable tuned/untuned mode, attack, release, swell, pitch-stepping, selectable key-switch stepping and an included convolution reverb effect with a vast array of selectable custom convolutions we’ve recorded from some of our favorite locations.
Also included are over a dozen custom sound-designed effects presets for added depth and versatility. The included effects range from spacey sci-fi sounds, to gritty sinister drones to ethereal ghostly bells.
Bonus custom sound-designed sustains, "synths”, drones, pads, percussion and FX sample content and presets, hand created and sculpted from the original raw source material.
NKI Program Presets
This library is designed for the full retail version of Kontakt 3.5 or later (Kontakt 4 is also supported). We’ve included 24 Kontakt 3.5/4-compatible nki programs, featuring automatable attack, release, offset, swell, tuning, key-switching, EQ, convolution, and a full range of other effects controls.
With Hybrid Factory, users can make warm analogue emulations, aggressive digital tones, and imaginary electroacoustic instruments. The samples in Hybrid Factory were created by Iain Morland using a wide range of techniques, including resynthesizing acoustic instruments; physical modelling; granular synthesis; processing Foley recordings; FM synthesis; sampling old cassettes; and convolving instruments with one another. This gives users a varied and unusual palette for sound design.

Sonic Laboratory is an imaginative toolkit of 500 sound effects, from brutal hits to evolving soundscapes, atonal clusters to retro electronica.
Audio designer Iain Morland took some of the strangest plucks, scrapes, thumps and noises from Precisionsound’s huge library of sampled acoustic instruments, then subjected them to bizarre processing to create evocative textures and effects that you won’t hear anywhere else.
If you are an audio designer for movies or games, Sonic Laboratory complements traditional Foley collections by providing production-ready sounds that add instant drama and interest. For composers working in genres such as IDM and ambient, Sonic Laboratory brings moments of contrast and depth when layered with musical content. Users of sample-based synthesisers can also load the sounds as oscillators for further mangling and exploration.
The total size of Sonic Laboratory is 1.28Gb. The audio files are sorted into 9 folders by category, and each file has a unique descriptive name.
The files in Sonic Laboratory are intended primarily to be placed directly on the timeline of a sequencer.
The included sampler programs are for easy auditioning of sounds, with one program for each category of sounds (two in the case of the largest category).
The programs for Kontakt 3 and 4 display the name of the played file on the GUI when you press a key.

I've collected a number of vintage synthesizers here at The Electronic Garden and the ARP instruments are among my favorites. ARP existed to give Moog a run for his money with affordable, stable and powerful synthesizers, string machines and even a stand alone sequencer. Even now, these instruments perform surprisingly well, and have become sought-after on the secondhand market, fetching ridiculously high prices. I've seen ARP 2600s going for six grand in recent months. Wow!
