Serum's now legendary Wavetable Oscillator has been refined with additional flexibility. Smooth Interpolation mode allows for near-infinite frame positions in the wavetable (no morph needed). There is filtering, FM, PD, ring mod, distortions and new wavetable warps. Even we have yet to fully explore the outer reaches of what can be achieved by the dual warps available for any of the main oscillator types.

The P821 signature sound is very open and has a large sonic character, as there is very little electronics and zero transformers in the tape machine, making the sound stage massive and no aggressive compression or clamping down. The degree of coloration and the overall sound, including the early reflections, depends heavily on the internal reverb delays. The plug-in has various carefully tuned delay settings pre-installed. However, it allows you to create your own delay/reverb templates, which can then be used in the presets. A complex network between the delay lines ensures that the delays do not have to be perfectly adjusted to sound good.
